No marriage or progeny at J D Weaver I have assumed based on the info provided by other sources that this marriage to this wife is correct.  Melchior did marry Ann Snavely, and the dates given in corresponding to that Ann are noted on her card. J D Weaver calls this Ann Snavely Anna and the birth and death dates do not correspond. However, the alternate sources are very clear Ann Snavely the dtr herein presented, married Melchior. he states μHer birthdate may be confused with the daughter of Johann Jacob Schnebele, and
his first wifeξ17

His will abstract :
November 4, 1808      January 9, 1810
             BRENNEMAN, MELCHOIR
Wife. Ann Brenneman. Children: Catharine, Henry, Susanna, John,
Elizabeth, Christian, Mary, Ann, Barbara and Susanna.
Ex. Not given. Donegal Twp. 10

Jacob is not mentioned, he had died.

Descendant Adelaide Louise Ermentrout  wrote he had 10 children, while other sources show 11.
μMelchoir Breneman (2nd) was born May 3, 1726, and died December 1, 1809. He, too, was a  clergyman. He mentions ten children in his will. Six were daughters and five of them, reaching  womanhood, were known as the "five beautiful Breneman girls." One of these five daughters,  Maria, married John Haldeman, and became the ancestress of the Haldeman family of  Harrisburg, Columbia, and Chiques (now Chickies), Pa. Another, Frena or Frances, became the ancestress of Bayard Taylor; and, another, Susan, the youngest, was my great grandmother.
From this old home came Susan Breneman, to be the wife of Christian Barr, and mistress of "The Ark," the fine Manor House, perched on a hill and surrounded by an estate consisting of several thousand acres of land, running North for almost two miles, and South for about the same distance.
Quoting again from Mr. Hensel's paper: "The main building is 65 feet broad and 55 feet deep,
and from the top of the foundation walls to the roof, it is 30 feet high, with a deep basement. On
the North side of the house is a kitchen 24 feet square, also, of stone, and, attached to the East
end, is a two-story building, 50 feet square, which was the 'Still House.' On the South side were
two wide porches running along the entire breadth of the house. All the woodwork was of the
very best hard wood, most of it walnut. The walls are two feet thick. Not a nail was used in its
inside finish, wooden pegs and pins being used instead. The hall is 12 feet wide, running entirely
through the center, and the stairway is winding, and continues to the garret. This staircase is
really a curiosity, an has not been improved upon by modern builders." μ18μ18
